Dr. Susan Evans Jennings' experience in the office technology field is quite extensive. Her teaching experience includes over 17 years at the high school and university levels. She is currently an Assistant Professor of General Business at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Dr. Jennings' research interest is the Internet used as an educational resource and online teaching and learning tool. She has presented many workshops at the state, regional, national, and international level concerning the use of the Internet and online learning. She holds an A.A.S. in Office Occupations, a B.S.E and M.Ed. in Business Education, and an Ed.D. in Developmental Education-Instructional Systems and Technology. Her past experience in the office includes working nine years in a number of office positions for an oil company. In addition to teaching, Dr. Jennings served as business education/general cooperative education coordinator, FBLA sponsor, Executive Business Games sponsor, and The Stock Challenge sponsor at Parkers Chapel High School in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was an Assistant Professor of Vocational Education at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia.
Susan James is a Computer Systems Engineer at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley where she manages Unix Systems for Scientists who are performing scientific research. She also builds and maintains high performance technical computers for Scientists who are doing scientific computing. Her career work includes part-time teaching in information science at various college computer labs. She holds a bachelor's degree in health science and a master's degree in public health. Her recent degrees include an A.S. in accounting , information science, and network administration. She is a Certified Novell Administrator CNA) and a Certified Microsoft Professional (CMP). She continues to pursue her studies in computer science at the University of California, Berkeley.
